Getting to Edinburgh

Edinburgh is readily accessible by rail, and the first & last of OrganFest's venues are within walking distance of the main (Waverley) rail station. Edinburgh Airport has direct flights to and from major UK cities including Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Nottingham (East Midlands).  For example, travel time from Birmingham is just over 4 hours by rail and 1¼ hours by air; from London it is about 5 hours by rail and 1½ hours by air.
Transport for delegates within Edinburgh

Delegates are advised that a degree of walking will be necessary between venues on the Saturday, which are up to a mile apart. Help with using public transport will be available for those unable to walk such distances.  Delegates will be expected to make their own way to/from the Friday venue (St Giles' Cathedral), which is close to the main Waverley railway station, and on Sunday.
